An Assistant Branch Manager for our Westgate Branch! If you are interested in leading a strong team dedicated to helping the members in our community, then this is the position for you! As an Assistant Branch Manager you will...



  • Perform routine to complex member transactions
  • Assist members with questions about credit union services and products
  • Handling/researching escalated member situations
  • Act as a resource for staff and members to answer complex questions and/or resolve complex problems
  • Opening new accounts
  • Processing loan applications
  • Directly supervise employees in the branch and maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff
  • Control the vault which includes preparing and forwarding the order for cash to Loomis and Accounting
  • Prepare, update and maintain daily/monthly Teller Statistic reports and loan reports
  • Act as lead in the absence of the Branch Manager


As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will provide guidance to our members and to the branch team. Your responsibilities include managing while the branch manager is away, delegating tasks to employees, performing audits, acting as vault teller, and handling cash shipments. Your position will lead a team that fosters belonging, growth and empowerment in the workplace.


Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will bring to the team...



  • 2 years financial industry experience
  • 2 years of supervisor or leadership experience
  • New account experience required
  • Lending experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • This position requires physical, in-person, face-to-face interaction.

Your compensation:

At Sound Credit Union we believe in paying our employees a fair and living wage. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate's prior experience and education level as it pertains to their role. This strategy promotes a talented and empowering work environment that we hope you will be a part of! Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates, which allows us to offer merit-based salary increases.

Minimum: $25.00

Midpoint: $31.25

Maximum: $37.50

Your hours:

An in person schedule Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
