The 3D and Mobile Applications team is looking for an experienced software engineer to help deliver unique and robust solutions to a variety of end users. We work on exciting and diverse projects with a focus on Mobile and 3D platforms. Projects will range from DoD to commercial to internally funded R&D.

You will work closely with our UX team to help define appropriate solutions for the needs of our users. Development will typically follow an Agile Scrum methodology with automated testing. You will be expected to develop, test, and integrate software features with minimal oversight, and potentially lead such efforts. This position will focus mostly on mobile development in Android along with some hardware integration and could include some Windows (.Net/C#) development or backend server deployment (Docker/Java). Knowledge of the TAK eco-system is a big plus.

Required Qualifications:

BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar with 7+ years of post-graduate development experience.
• 5+ years of Java 8+
• 2+ years of Android development
• Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mocking frameworks, etc.)
• Experience with configuration management like Git
• Some system integration experience (HW/SW integration, APIs, etc.)
• General understanding of computer networking and network configuration
• Familiarity with Agile Development
• Good written and verbal communication
• Self-starter and team player with a desire to improve user experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Android development
• Experience with Kotlin
• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with C#/.Net
• Experience with TAK
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool suite
• Experience with Automated Testing and Continuous Integration
• Some experience with iOS development
• Secret Clearance
