PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The Administrative Support team is Empowering Lives as the first point of contact for those experiencing instability. The Administrative Support staff EMPOWERS LIVES by connecting individuals and families with community resources; in addition to providing support to the daily operations of the site and program to best transform the lives of those we serve. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), and Associate Degree is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and have the ability to be insured under an automobile insurance policy. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed per program requirements. Experience with basic typing, computer skills, and data entry. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must have good organization and time management skills. Good customer service skills are needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES * Provides consistent coverage for assigned shifts that may include alternate weekend * Work in a team and independently and independently, to complete all shift tasks * Assists Courtyard guests with needs and questions and maintains shelter order in accordance with CPLC Courtyard Homeless Resource Center policies and procedures * Performs general administrative functions such as general data entry, answering incoming calls and responding to inquiries in a professional manner, and maintaining up-to-date call logs. Provides appropriate information and referrals for those who need other resources * Helps callers resolve any issues as they may arise * Helps guests with questions or issues when necessary * Maintains written and oral communication of incidents in accordance with policies * Reports any problems to the Courtyard Management Team, Program Director, Program Manager, Lead Case Manager, and/or Security Site Supervisor * Completes daily Bin and Mail sheets * Procure and manage office supplies, as needed * Attends staff meetings and participates in activities designated by the Courtyard Management Team * Contribute to quality and safety systems as directed/ requested. * Provide support in the coordination, communication, and documentation to other service providers and community resources * Perform other program duties as assigned Other requirements: * Preference is given to individuals that speak more than one language * Valid NV driver's license, reliable transportation, ability to show proof of registration/insurance.
