SOC Engineer, Sr Staff
Our team works on all aspects of SOC development ie architecture, RTL design, verification, implementation and prototyping.
As part of our team, you will:
- Contribute in providing verification solutions to the customers around Synopsys ARC processor based SOCs or Custom SOCs/IPs
- Perform verification planning, testbench development, IP and VIP integration, directed and random testcase development, functional coverage creation, code coverage analysis etc.
- Use Synopsys EDA tools like VCS, Verdi and Synopsys IPs, VIPs for the design/verification of Complex IPs/SOCs
- Contribute to both, off-site projects and be a trusted advisor to customer design and verification teams
- Discover classical solutions to problems with little guidance and implements them independently
- Set task-level goals and consistently meet schedules
Key Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer interaction required
- Direct SoC experience in RTL design and/or Design Verification using UVM|OVM
- Excellent debug skills in both functional and gate level simulations
- Team-oriented; able to work well with distributed teams both internal teams and external teams
- Good understanding of C and Assembly
- Thorough understanding of AMBA bus protocols
- Strong scripting skills in common languages such as Perl|Python|tcl
- Continuous learning mindset
- BS|MS|PHD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field required
Preferred Experience
- Proven experience as a senior technical contributor, planning and leading projects
- Working experience in complex processor based SoC projects
- Experience with Synopsys tools, IP, and VIP
- Deep protocol knowledge in interface standards such as DDR, HBM, PCIe, etc a plus
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $133,000 to $232,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
