IT Project Manager

Key Role:

Manage the process to establish the CDRH Data Analytics Platform; a high-visibility business goal critical to the mission of FDA CDRH operating in an Agile environment. Support the client's mission by overseeing product readiness and ensuring service teams are set up for success. Represent the team as part of the PMO to manage project scope, schedule, risks, resources, and identify dependencies with other workstreams. Use your experience to continuously scale and adapt operations to meet the needs of the Data Modernizations Team.This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with managing systems and software development projects

  • 5+ years of experience managing staff

  • 3+ years of experience working in an Agile environment

  • Experience with facilitating discussions across workstreams to identify interdependencies, create alignments, and promote collaborations

  • Knowledge of scales team operations to continuously meet team needs by leveraging Agile and Project Management best practices

  • Knowledge of Data Modernization Project status reporting to Booz Allen leadership and the client

  • Ability to create and manage Project Schedules using MS Project to meet schedule obligations, monitor resources and tasking, and manage risks by applying risk management techniques

  • Ability to use problem-solving skills to address blockers in support of the team in meeting contractual obligations

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the FDA environment

  • Experience in creating status reports that provide clear, valuable, and concise information

  • Experience with customer and stakeholder relations and engagement, including Agile management techniques to direct the daily operations of a technology team

  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, or Visio

  • Knowledge of basic cloud environment like AWS

  • Ability to identify gaps in delivery and leverages best practices to conduct process improvement

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $110,000 to $205,000.
