Job Description: The Machine Operator reports directly to the Senior Production Leader. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machines in various areas of the plant that assist in knitting processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures. Other responsibilities can include driving a powered industrial vehicle, input information into various computer systems, actively participate in the safety process, and other duties as assigned. Operators must be able to work well with team members and must follow all safety rules. The operator will operate equipment safely and efficiently to ensure the very best quality fabric is produced for Milliken and Company's customers. Qualifications: *Should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve opportunities. *Able to interact effectively with management, staff, vendors, customers, and work independently, and/or as part of a team. *Must be able to lift 25 lbs *Must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions. *Must be self-driven. Responsibilities: *Follow written and oral instructions from department leaders. *Maintaining high level of housekeeping and cleanliness, keeping a safe working environment. *Ensure 1st quality product is being produced at all times *Monitoring and analyzing process parameters to ensure machines are performing to specification. *Other duties as assigned by management *Must be willing to wear all PPE required for the job Milliken & Company is an equal opportunity employer.
