As our Senior Clinical Quality Analyst, you would travel across the eastern region and the US ensuring the highest quality performance from our dedicated staff. If you are located in Pacific, Western and Central Time Zones, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Traveling up to 75% of the time to conduct on-site clinician and facility audits throughout the assigned region in the western United States - likely California, Navada and Utah
  • Working to ensure our members receive the best possible treatment from a network of high-quality clinicians and facilities
  • Attending team meetings by phone to stay up to date on issues and discuss inter-rater reliability
  • Developing your own travel schedule
  • Sending letters and samples of audits to providers
  • Scoring audits and writing audit reports
  • Tracking and documenting all activities

Required Qualifications:



  • Master's degree
  • Independent licensure in the Mental Health field such as: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, PhD license
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health
  • 6+ months of experience in managed care
  • Computer proficiency
  • Active Driver's License
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time in Pacific and Western time zones including overnight travel
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Colorado and Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
