Job Description

United States Steel Corporation has an immediate opening for our Management Associate Program supporting Commercial Operations. This is a remote commuter position and you will have the ability to work remote while also being able to commute to our Troy, MI or Pittsburgh, PA locations for training and development throughout the program.The Management Associate is exposed to various aspects of U. S. Steel's overall business. The interaction with the customer and multiple functional groups within the corporation provide a well-rounded basic knowledge of the order-to-cash process from beginning to end.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Enters orders through multiple order entry systems, while ensuring order acknowledgements and order changes are compared to and validated against the customer purchase orders;
* Manages inventories to meet customer supply requirements;
* Communicates with customers, producing facilities, and technical personnel on a daily basis on various issues including order entry, production, etc.;
* Follows the production of orders to ensure on-time delivery to the customer;
* Develops customer specific market information to inform business forecasting; and * Corrects all held and unbilled invoices

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, supply chain management or a closely related field
* Must have less than three years of professional work experience
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
* Excellent planning and organization skills
* Computer literacy to a working skills level - proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Ability to adapt to and master web-based support applications* Related experience in the steel, metals or closely related industry preferred
* Prior internship a plus.
