Associate Director, Procurement Supplier Diversity & ESG

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Procurement Supplier Diversity & ESG to join our Finance and Accounting organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with category sourcing managers and business leaders to embed KPMG's supplier diversity and ESG strategies and ensures appropriate purchasing decisions are made with consideration of these strategies across all spend categories.
  • Builds Supplier Diversity and ESG standards in all supplier touchpoints (i.e., Code of Conduct, RFPs, Contract Templates).
  • Responsible of Supplier Diversity and ESG reporting, programs metrics, and programs benchmarks including annual reports and surveys. Manages Tier II diverse spend reporting requirements and supplier diversity and environmental surveys.
  • Establishes and maintains strategic partnerships with diverse supplier organizations identifying mutually beneficial opportunities to increase engagement, foster connections and increase community presence.
  • Represent the business by participating on Supplier Diversity boards and committees such as WBENC, NMSDC, NVDBC, DisabilityIn, NGLCC.
  • Develop and oversee key supplier development programming to strengthen the diversity supplier pipeline

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of successful track record within procurement and supply chain management including five years minimum of relevant work experience in building and leading supplier diversity programs
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college; or equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrative experience in providing strategy and thought leadership within areas of Procurement, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and ESG
  • Data-driven decision maker with excellent program management and organizational skills
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; proven ability to solidify and grow relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Active social media presence and brand reputation promoting diversity and inclusion
