Introduction to the job

The Software Integration SDET will act as an QA and Automation development engineer for EUV source software releases. This role is responsible for software integration, qualification and automation, verifying whether the software behaves according to ASML requirements and customer expectations

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

  • Develop software to automate software integration, qualification tasks.
  • Develop visualization dashboards to update integration, qualification status.
  • Using Agile methodology to develop the software using Python.
  • Creating designs and Implement code that are modular, scalable, robust and meet quality requirements.
  • Provides support for software development team to create software branch, integrate to release branch.
  • Integrate and Create software release candidates.
  • Qualify software on virtual, simulated environments.
  • Execute the defined system level test set.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues arise during testing, raise defects and ensure the delivering project accepts ownership.
  • Creates test result documents as required to support internal and external program reviews.
  • Ensures successful completion of system-level testing, reliability testing, and any activity required to support a quality software release.
  • Support Configuration Manager activities.
  • Assign verdict to reliability issues.
  • Ensures successful completion of system-level testing, reliability testing, and any activity required to support a quality software release.

Education and experience

  • Requires a minimum Bachelor's Degree in science and engineering such as computer science, physics, or electrical engineering.
  • Experience programming in Python is a must.
  • Data analysis using Pandas and Jupyter.
  • charts/plots using matplotlib or other libraries.
  • Experience with Spark/Pyspark or other big data platforms.
  • ability to write SQL queries to analyze data.
  • experience with Databricks a plus.
  • QA experience strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Knowledge of software engineering principles.
  • Experience with programming, scripting and test automation in Python.
  • Experience working on Linux and/or Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with test driven development (TDD), and/or behavior driven development (BDD) is a pre.
  • Analytic skills needed for initial investigation of issues found in test.
  • Take initiative and take ownership of issues beyond your formal area of responsibility.
  • Self-starter; self-motivator; willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with working in Agile teams.
