The Global Broadband Operations team's mission is to provide reliable internet service to our customers around the globe. We are connecting the unconnected in many parts of the world that are getting access to the internet for the first time. We are also helping people stay connected while they work or do remote learning from home, or while they fly for business or leisure on major airlines such as Delta and JetBlue.
The Global Broadband Operations team is looking for a Platform DevOps Lead Engineer to ensure Viasat's internet service is highly reliable for customers around the world. As a Platform DevOps Engineer, you'll deploy and maintain Viasat's next generation cloud native infrastructure platform. You'll treat infrastructure as code and automate everything you do. You'll keep an ever-watchful eye on the performance of platform-provided services and setup monitoring to stay ahead of operational issues before they happen. Leading a DevOps team requires a understanding of the cloud native ecosystem, a collaborative approach to solving hard problems, and a focus on growing and developing the skills and expertise of your team.

Employee At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. For Colorado-based jobs only: The minimum for this position is $181,700 annually; however, base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
