We are looking for an experienced Discovery Software Engineer to join a collaborative, innovative team in an environment that encourages ideas and understands the unique value of everyone. Responsibilities: Develop working proof of concept products and services Handoff proof of concepts to product teams to accelerate their entry to market Research alternate technologies for improving existing services Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in professional software development including debugging, architecture, and optimization Broad, high level, knowledge of algorithms, data structures, technologies e.g., networking and storage Self-motivated, critical thinker, and able to solve problems independently Programming experience with at least one high-level programming language such as Golang, C#, and/or Python and at least one low-level programming language such as C, C++ Experience with microservice architectures, REST API development and event-driven architectures Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and ability to get up to speed quickly Strong desire to keep learning 2+ years of experience with cloud native development e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc. About us: We know that a positive environment is key to our and your success and health.
