Accounting Analyst / Sr. Accounting Analyst

This role is remote, however candidates must be based in the United States in order to be considered for this role.

Position Summary

The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for performing general accounting functions within Lukka while reporting directly to the Controller. This individual will provide strategic support and analysis on a regular basis. The primary responsibilities are financial statement preparation and presentation, as well as forecasting and budgeting. This Accounting Analyst would document accounting processes and provide suggestions for improvement. They are eager to be a team player and assist in all aspects of accounting, finance, and billing.

What You'll Do

• Diligently prepare various balance sheet reconciliations
• Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities
• Provide solutions to accounting issues as they arise
• Assist in various ad-hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as needed
• Help drive the reduction of the close timeline by assessing and streamlining close-related activities
• Assist with review of employee expense reports for policy compliance

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or related major with a minimum of 3 years related accounting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting software applications
• Ability to prepare financial data and financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Proficient in Quickbooks, Google suite/docs, and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills a must.
• NetSuite/Oracle experience is a plus
• CPA designation or equivalent a plus
• Detail-oriented and analytical providing high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
