Description

MEDITECH connects two dynamic industries: healthcare and technology. The Software Engineer role allows you to be a part of these growing fields. Software Engineers at MEDITECH have a passion for developing and maintaining the core part of our technology stack. You will use industry-standard languages and tools such as C/C++, Python, Linux, and Google Cloud Platform. As a member of our Advanced Technology team, your job would involve:



  • Developing and supporting the binaries that are the foundation of our software stack

  • Evaluating and executing adoption of technologies needed to provide optimal solutions, including learning new technologies

  • Peer reviewing others' work by providing feedback and guidance for alternate approaches as needed

  • Adhering to appropriate coding standards, to ensure the software is efficient, flexible, secure, scalable, and high quality



What You Should Have


  • Bachelor's or associate degree with coursework in a computer programming related field (i.e., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering), and/or 2-3 years of applicable work or military experience

  • Experience with Linux, C/C++, Python

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong technical aptitude

  • Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms

  • Capable of developing software solutions by studying requirements and system flows along with data and security needs

  • Desire and ability to independently learn, analyze, and implement new technologies
