Job Description:

As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer, you will provide support for In-Service Engineering Agents (I-SEA) assigned to combat systems for the Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) coordinating corrective maintenance actions, tracking procurement/repair contracts as well as part requisitions pertaining to ship Casualty Reports (CASREPs) to be reported on a weekly basis. Additionally, you will provide a presentable format monthly fleet metrics report including Operational Availability and Logistics Factors for different combat systems, as well as assist in JIRA Scrum Master Duties ensuring monthly sprint tasking velocity and backlog grooming/planning. Maintain WBS definitions and Plan of Action & Milestone (PoA&M) charts, and provide support for the development, review, and update of Technical Manuals pertaining to MK 48 Mod 2 Gun Weapon System (GWS).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Active U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
• Minimum of 5 years systems engineering experience
• Bachelor's in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, aerospace, computer)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Systems integration experience
• Project management experience
• Previous military experience

Security Clearance:

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance.
