As a Software Engineer Senior Associate at Cognizant, you will be responsible for analyzing,

designing, programming and testing TriZetto software programs and applications. Working closely with

Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to

assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic,

computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, deliver and

maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare

industry.

Job Title: Sr. .NetEngineer

Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role

Essential Functions:



  • Design, Develop and unit test software components pertaining to the area of assignment within the product, following the laid down development & quality processes

  • Follow the standard configuration management and developmental processes defined within the product team

  • Participate in the scrum ceremonies

  • Provide support to the quality assurance related activities

  • Contribute to knowledge sharing related activities within and outside the team



Qualifications:

Education: BS in Computer Science or related major

Required Experience:



  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development with a focus on high volume application development
  • Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server, MVC, Angular JS, Typescript
  • Working knowledge of InstallShield
  • Experience with Build and Packaging a major plus
  • Ability to interface with multiple development teams and work across projects
  • Team player and works well in group environments
  • DB development with in MS SQL Server 2016 and later
  • Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code
  • Proficient understanding of service and web development concepts:

    • XML, XSD, ReST, WCF




Desired Experience:



  • Scaled Agile experience (SAFe)
  • Containers, Messaging with Active MQ and/or Kafka, knowledge of Azure Managed Instance
  • Experience with .Net Core
  • Experience with Entity framework
  • Experience developing using MS Office API
  • Understanding of the Healthcare space
  • General knowledge of TriZetto software such Facets, QNXT, CareAdvance or EAM


Behavioral Competencies:



  • Good Communication Skills problems
  • Always learning and sharing with teams and team members


Technical Competencies:



  • Proficiency in .Net and MS SQL DB development

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is the salary is in the range of $80K-$115k and will also commensurate with experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
