Sr. Associate -J2EE , Core Java , REST Web Services

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for candidate with 5+ years of experience working as J2EE, Core Java, REST Web Services.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Job Description and Qualifications include: (This is a hands-on development role)

• Required:
  
  
  
  • A competent architect with 5+ years' experience as a Designer/ Architect for Java applications
  • Technically very strong. Open to learn new technology
  • Ready to do POCs and hands on work if the project needs
  • Able to articulate the design concepts
  • Mentoring the team on the technical aspects
  • Experience as a designer
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of automated testing
  • Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills
  • Motivated self-starter capable of performing duties with minimal oversight
  • Java Microservices Springboot Webservices SOAP Rest Cloud experience is needed
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills
  • Experience in working on a middleware application handling multiple transactions will be an advantage
  • Working in Agile methodology is an advantage
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills.

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Should be self-motivated, self-starter with clear communication skills who thrives working in a team environment
  
  
  
  

Duration: Full Time only - "Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)."

The annual salary for this position is between $[90,000 -$125,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
