Job Summary:

The Manager of Payer Portfolio Marketing leads the development and execution of lead generation and content marketing plans and processes. The Manager of Payer Portfolio Marketing will collaborate with key stakeholders, including Sales and Solution Management, to develop and deliver high-impact, relevant messaging that generates high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and increases awareness of the Cognizant brand in the payer markets. The Manager of Payer Portfolio Marketing will track and report performance metrics on all marketing programs.

Job Responsibilities:




  • Participating in strategic Marketing planning for the Cognizant Healthcare Payer business.
  • Planning, Developing and executing marketing programs generation programs to support revenue goals.
  • Working with operational leads to direct and manage day-to-day operational activities related to program execution, collateral and asset development, reporting and requirements definitions.
  • Participating in the definition of Cognizant's event strategy for Healthcare Payer and coordinating with Marketing Communications to execute plans.
  • Supporting new solution offering development. Must understand key personas in the Payer market.
  • Developing and managing end-to-end solution marketing plans and programs for Cognizant's Healthcare Payer portfolio, which includes the TriZetto software products
  • Acting as a Portfolio Marketing liaison and working in conjunction with New and Existing Client Sales, Solution Managers, Digital Marketing and Marketing Communications to develop and manage execution of comprehensive market segment plans.
  • Limited travel is required



Required Qualifications:




  • Minimum of five years' related experience in marketing preferably to the Payer or Healthcare Information Technology market.
  • Strong negotiation, problem management and relationship management skills.
  • Strong project management and copy-writing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership & personnel management skills.



Desired Qualifications:




  • Strong understanding of Healthcare Information Technology and services preferred.
  • Experience with measuring and tracking marketing KPIs preferred.



Required Education:




  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing or communications related discipline.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.



Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[90K - 125K] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
