Venable LLP's Commercial Litigation Group seeks a midlevel associate with at least four years of experience to join the practice in the Los Angeles office.
The successful candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding academic credentials. Qualified candidates will have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, work well in a team, and be prepared to take on significant responsibility in Venable's cases. Candidates will support commercial litigation activities, including complex commercial litigation. Participation in marketing and business development activities, including client pitches and presentations are expected. Prior law firm experience is preferred. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar. The salary range for associate positions is $205,000 to $365,000 per year, depending upon associate level
