Associate Director, Strategic Research & Insights Elevation

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director Strategic Research & Insights Elevation to join our Growth & Strategy organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Strategic Projects and Research to support the US Chief Strategy Officer agenda
  • Develop quarterly trend report for key senior leadership constituencies (US Management Committee, Global Management Team, etc.)
  • Contribute to the team-wide signal monitoring process by synthesizing relevant data and identifying key trends and insights for specific topics
  • Contribute domain expertise for strategic sectors such as healthcare, fintech, insurance and strategic topics such as IoT, Blockchain, AI, ESG
  • Lead the Strategic Research & Insights Elevation workstream within the Strategic Insights Team - With market disruption accelerating, demand from US and Global leadership for research and insights related to emerging topics is increasing; lead key strategic projects such as market expansion/entry/exit, competitive deep dives, trend exploration (e.g., emerging technology, talent insights) and channel impactful insights to executive leaders
  • Coordinate the development of a quarterly trend report to inform key senior leadership constituencies of the most consequential strategic insights; translate relevant emerging trend inputs from across the team (and firm at large) into contextualized data-driven insight

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight years of current and/or recent management consulting/strategy experience or experience in corporate innovation, new product/service development, or market research; client service experience strongly preferred
  • Master's degree (e.g., MBA) from an accredited college/university preferred
  • Strong project management, research, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and lead discussions with senior leaders; be a broad strategic thinker with an interest and ability to work with a dynamic team across a wide range of technology, policy, social and economic issues
  • Proven ability to leverage data analysis techniques and tools to discern market patterns and generate actionable insights; strong ability to manage competing priorities
  • Self- starter with initiative, comfort with ambiguity and interest in being part of a fast paced, high impact team; willingness and ability to travel (Limited basis less than ten percent)
