Talent Sourcer

St. Michael's Inc., an employee-owned company is currently seeking a Talent Sourcer to support companywide recruiting efforts. This position would join an existing team of Recruiters who work together to meet and exceed the recruitment needs within the organization. The Talent Sourcer responsibilities include using various recruiting channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. The ideal candidate will have solid networking skills, know how to source on all social media channels and enjoy learning about different roles. This position will proactively identify our hiring needs and help us fill our vacancies with qualified employees.

Location: Woodbridge, VA (or remote anywhere on the east coast)

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
  • Customer-focused and mission-driven
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team player, with the ability to champion the recruiting process
  • Self-starter, with the ability to effectively manage multiple candidates, searches, contracts, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Duties Include:

  • Utilizes cleared job boards, networking, ATS, social media and other recruitment channels to find top talent for each requisition
  • Builds rapport with candidates and potential candidates though timely and honest communications
  • Interacting with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs, ClearedJobs, Indeed, Circa)
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
  • Sources, networks and actively builds relationships to ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates
  • Coordinating with hiring managers to determine position requirements
  • Promote our employer brand online and offline
  • Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Attends recruiting meetings as needed
  • Adapts to changing business priorities with a focus on accountability, communication, and customer service
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
  • Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Manages and coordinates multiple recruitment activities simultaneously
  • Accurately tracks and reports on recruiting activities
  • Performs other related duties as required
