Job DescriptionThe Director will be a critical member of the North America (NA) Operations team, which plays a vital role in driving the NA business in areas such as strategy and planning, thought leadership, Go-to-Market (GTM) execution, executive business reviews, controls/ compliance, training, and other business operations activities. The position requires a seasoned professional experienced in translating strategic business objectives and industry/business trends and insights into compelling narratives for diverse audiences. The candidate must have experience working with senior executive stakeholders and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. As a member of the NA Operations team, the candidate will be responsible developing communications narratives for both the Regional President North America, and the Head of US. The candidate will work closely with North America executives and sales leadership, NA and US Operations, Marketing & Communications, and other NA Business executives and staff. This is an individual contributor role based in San Francisco, California, and reports to the Vice President, North America Operations. Key goals and responsibilities: * Deliver NA narratives in the form of presentations, speeches and talking points to support the Regional President North America, and the US Country Manager for internal and external speaking engagements, including Visa Payments Forum, Regional and Market town halls, Executive Client Councils, Annual Market Kick-offs, Leadership Meetings, and executive client meetings * Develop briefing materials and playbooks as needed for executive speaking engagements and enable the dissemination of information to broader sales teams * Collaborate with US and NA Ops teams to curate content and agendas for internal meetings, office visits, etc. * Provide additional ad hoc strategic and project management support as needed QualificationsQualifications Basic Qualifications * 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
