Job Summary We are seeking a Project Construction Administrator for our growing Team at Introba, located in our St. Louis, MO Office. The ideal person will manage in-office project construction administration, from startup to submittals, RFI's, ASI's, sketches, pay apps, change orders, etc. along with closeout as supported by the Project Manager. Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities:
  • Assist with project construction startup correspondence and review/confirm new project tracking templates according to company CA Tracking Procedures.

  • Manage On-Site Project Construction Administration. Construction administration shall be completed and carried out per industry standard of care.

  • Coordination with client/owner regarding construction requirements and activities along with communication with design team and consultants throughout the construction phase to include site visits, inspections and RFI responses.

  • Review cost estimates based on equipment, materials and labor requirements, where applicable and provide external project closeout audit for each completed project.

  • Final site observation with design team and consultants; punch list creation and review; review final project manual for completeness and manage project warrant inspection follow-up processes with consultants.

  • Ensure that all documentation complies with company Document Retention Policy and evaluate all projects to ensure compliance regarding budgets for contracts services and coordinate with the PM to maintain estimates along with tracking all invoices and work orders.

  • Maintain and keep track of project schedule to ensure compliance and timelines. Prepare an effective work schedule and coordinate with engineers. Make regular visits to the construction sites and support/attend/lead OAC/OEC meetings and take minutes for all projects to develop and issue various construction documents and issue notices to contractors if required while communicating with clients and recommend changes to the contract if required. Document all construction activities and evaluate progress of all projects and monitor all ad hoc requests and participate in various construction progress meetings and maintain records for all construction procedures.

  • Collaborate with Internal and External Stakeholders to gather and evaluate all change orders and maintain records of all design processes and maintain logs to submit for approval while monitoring all drawings at various intervals and maintain records.

  • Evaluate all applications for payment and recommend changes if required. Supervise efficient working of all employees and ensure compliance to deadlines and adhere and comply to all company safety requirements and monitor all projects from conceptualization to implementation and prepare reports. Evaluate and execute punch list for all project closeouts.

Qualifications:
  • Higher education background in Construction Management or Engineering, Construction Administration; experience in an Architectural/Engineering Design Office or in-field experience with a Contractor or Project Management Company preferred.

  • Microsoft Office applications proficiency

  • Bluebeam proficiency

  • Must be a self-starter and work independently with conflicting deadlines.

  • Attentive to detail and precision. Takes pride and ownership in their work.
