Your Opportunity

The International Accounting Analyst will be responsible for International Accounting functions. This involves reviewing International Letters of Credit. Assisting with coding wires for outside offices and other international accounting functions.



Core Responsibilities

    Responsible for International accounting functions. This involves reviewing International Letters of Credit. Assisting with coding wires for outside offices and other international accounting functions.

  • Financial Review / analysis of all International Letters of Credit, to ensure we get payment.

  • Review BDT (Broker Determination Table) updates. Be the gate keeper for the international department. Ensure sales offices/groups are properly set up and linked to ensure proper reporting.

  • Rotary support; apply rotary payments to ensure proper clearing of accounts receivable / Provides open AR statement & aging to Rotary / Answers any question on open credit & debit memos on account / Send all credit & debit memos to rotary.

  • Provide front-line support for the external and internal auditors, including technical documentation.

  • Ownership of certain accounting processes including performing analysis.

  • Alert management of problems and significant balances that may become issues

  • Assist with month-end close, including JE

  • USDA Reporting

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or related filed and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • SAP experience, preferred.

  • Knowledge of financial and business principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills.

  • Proactive and solution-oriented.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong self-motivation and organization skills.

  • Displays professionalism and integrity.

  • Ability to influence change.

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
