Job Description

Workday is committed to helping customers live the "Cloud lifestyle" and getting the most of their investments.  Adoption Applications make it easier for customers to adopt products and features and help them achieve their desired business outcomes. The ideal candidate can manage multiple concurrent projects, has a passion for deeply understanding customer needs, and is familiar with enterprise software deployment (implementation) methodology.


  • Research on and input into Adoption roadmap planning and strategic vision.

  • Research business requirements for product enhancements. Review, comment, follow-up, and target bug and enhancement requests. Become an expert in the Workday Adoption applications and in Workday Usage Metrics.

  • Support the Adoption product design process. We are creating an application experience that helps customer teams from making the decision to adopt new products and features through deployment  These solutions must require minimal customer training and be very user-friendly.

  • Create and collaborate on detailed functional designs in an Adoption scrum(s), using Agile methodologies and tools. Work closely with software engineers to turn functional specifications into next-generation business services. Work effectively within and across teams to launch new features.

  • Assist in creating and collaborating on a program to scale the production of Workday Usage Metrics, based on the needs of customers and of internal stakeholders.

  • Create presentations and demos to help train additional Workday teams and customers on new functionality. Be a point of contact for internal teams such as product marketing, customer success managers, consultants, documentation, product marketing, production support, sales support, and training.


  • 1-3 years of experience with Human Capital Management, Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking, or Financials Management applications in product management/strategy, implementation consulting, or as a super user/systems administrator of a Workday customer

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment leveraging Agile Product/Project Management methodologies

  • A strong customer focus, with a genuine interest in helping customers get the most of their Workday investments

  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail

  • Great collaboration and communication skills; able to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliverables and build strong working relationships

  • Bachelors' degree
